I am, or at least that's what I've been led to believe. I live in a fluffy purple cloud filled with fantasy, but once in a while I peek outside, take a look at the darkness that surrounds me and embrace it.
I write fantasy for fun, work for the enemy for money and was trained as a scientist to satisfy my curiosity.

“A night out in town as a Sweet Lolita.
Since I live in Puerto Rico finding the proper accessories for Lolita is next to impossible. Everything is off-brand. My skirt and bow were made by the lovely Malice Alice and I sewed my own purse and petticoat.
This was my first attempt at Lolita. Please keep in mind that this was an extremely windy night and the temperature was well over 80F. Forgive me if I didn’t get the whole style right. Any suggestions are welcome.

I think this is a beautiful attempt at Lolita, especially one almost completely hand-made. Not many people have that kind of talent, I know I’m especially envious! Sadly, I can’t see too much of your outfit to give you good criticism, but from what I can see, it is a very good start and looks great on you! Keep up the great work, I hope you continue enjoying the fashion!

"Al poeta le incumbe rescatar el lenguaje de su uso trivial, que no sólo desvitaliza las palabras al convertirlas en meros instrumentos de comunicación, sino que degrada al hombre mismo que, privado de su órgano de interrogar el misterio, llega a ser esclavo de sus propios instrumentos."
I designed a bunch of these in different sizes and have been printing them out, handing them around and putting them up. I encourage everyone to print some out and put them up. The text is not my own, it has been passed around and has been seen in alternating styles in different zines (see: Learning Good Consent & A World Without Sexual Assault).

"I think for me the tipping point was when I was a very young man. It was late at night, and I was lying in bed, and I thought, as I often thought, “I could be a writer. It’s what I want to be. I think it’s what I am.” And then I imagined myself in my eighties, possibly even on my deathbed, thinking that same thought, in a life when I’d never written anything. And I’d be an old man, with my life behind me, still telling myself I was really a writer — and I would never know if I was kidding myself or not."
